Family Resource/Youth Service Center Director
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in education or other appropriate area. At least three successful years of related work experience. Ability to relate well to people. Possess strong planning, organizational, and coordination skills. Be willing to work flexible hours. Excellent written, verbal and computer skills required. Knowledgeable of local and state programs and services available.

JOB GOALS
To serve as liaison between families/community and school and to provide high quality programs/services to reduce barriers for student learning; and to support the Mission Statement of the Estill County School System.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises all FRYSC related activities at center schools. Attends program trainings and develops a program plan and a budget to submit for state approval and makes sure that the program is operated within FRYSC requirements. Assesses student/school/family needs, compiles results, and integrates priorities within the proposed FRYSC action plans. Files required reports to the appropriate state agency and maintains pertinent records. Has the responsibility of the FRYSC Advisory Council Board and for procuring community personnel to serve with school staff on the board and shall serve as the liaison to the district FRYSC coordinator. Purchases all materials for the program and ensures that there is ample materials for each program component. Responsible for public relations related to the FRYSC. Procures volunteers, arranges training, and supervises center volunteers. Conducts home visits as needed. Assures all required FRYSC components are included and implemented in the program. Trained in the KCCRB Critical Incident Stress Management Model. Maintains confidentiality of students and/or staff. Performs other duties as assigned by the Superintendent or designee.
