FAMILY ADVOCACY CASEWORKER
Location:
Jackson County
PAY RATE
$15.72 per hour (Pay is negotiable based on experience) Are you ready to make an impact to those in need in Appalachia? Summary:
Provides partnerships with families in need, providing support and direct services while connecting them with resources in their community.
Essential Job Functions:
Provides case management services, home visits, and networking with agencies in assigned areas. Creates individualized action plans. 50% Responsible for the implementation of seasonal initiatives such as Christmas Distribution and components of School Readiness Program. 30% Responsible for keeping required records and providing required reports for the program. 20% What We Offer At Christian Appalachian Project (CAP), we are proud to provide a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health and work-life balance. Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent In General Studies 18 Months Additional Training In related field
Preferred Experience:
1 or more years of successful experience in a related field or a combination of education and experience Certifications and licensures: Possess a Valid Kentucky Driver's License and Maintain a Safe Driving Record Required CAP Driving Certification (or ability to obtain within first 90 days) Required In order to drive a personal vehicle on CAP business, must obtain and maintain a policy of motor vehicle insurance coverage on a privately-owned vehicle with insurance coverage amounts of $50,000 bodily injury per person per accident; $100,000 bodily injury for all bodily injuries per accident; and $50,000 property damage per accident.

Ability to reach, push, pull, bend, stoop, stand, walk Lift 50 lb from floor to waist Lift 50 lb from waist to shoulder Lift 25 lb from shoulder to overhead Carry 50 lb for 25 ft Lifts/moves items with unknown weight or that are awkward shapes and sizes with assistance Have good visual acuity with corrective lenses Have good hearing capabilities
