Office of Juvenile Justice Bridge City Center for Youth 3225 River Rd., Bridge City, Louisiana 70094 https://ojj.la.gov/location/bridge-city-center-for-youth-jefferson-parish The Office of Juvenile Justice is seeking an experienced Social Worker 6-A to provide advanced clinical assessments and expert consultation within the JUMP sexual behavior treatment program. In this role, you will conduct evidence-based psychosexual re-appraisals that guide treatment decisions, placement recommendations, and long-term rehabilitation outcomes. You will complete specialized assessments, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, interview youth and key staff, and translate complex information into clear, comprehensive reports used by probation and parole, treatment providers, and the courts. The position also includes providing consultation and coordination on complex policy and procedural areas at an all-male secure-care facility. We're looking for a detail-oriented clinical professional with strong judgment, excellent writing skills, and the ability to communicate findings with clarity and compassion. Your expertise will directly shape treatment pathways and support safer, healthier futures for youth. Possession of a current Louisiana license to practice as a Licensed Master's Social Worker (LMSW) or a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) plus: A master's degree in social work followed by five years of social services experience. Job Duties:

Conduct psychosexual re-appraisals for youth in the JUMP sexual behavior treatment program using the OJJ protocol. Attend treatment sessions to assess youth engagement and readiness for re-appraisal. Interview youth, treatment providers, case managers, dorm staff, and probation & parole officers. Review legal, educational, mental health, and historical records to inform clinical conclusions. Administer assessments such as

, and other tools as needed. Incorporate relevant research (e.g., ACEs ) into clinical interpretation and recommendations. Write comprehensive reports detailing treatment progress, risk/protective factors, and placement recommendations. Submit reports for supervisory review, revise as needed, and provide finalized reports to probation & parole. Attend court hearings to discuss findings when ordered by the court. Review appraisal results with the treatment team, youth, families, and involved providers. Provide consultation and coordination on complex program areas, including policy and procedure development.
