Full Job Description Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to clients, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques and interventions.
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as psychologists, psychiatrists, and medical doctors, to coordinate care for clients.
- Advocate for clients' rights and access to resources and services.
- Provide crisis intervention services to clients in immediate need of support.
- Assist clients in developing and implementing strategies for managing addiction and maintaining sobriety.
- Facilitate workforce development programs to help clients gain employment skills and find job opportunities.
- Coordinate childcare services for clients who are parents or guardians.
- Implement crisis management strategies to ensure the safety and well-being of clients in emergency situations.
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage behavior change and promote client self-efficacy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or related field.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Social Worker.
- Experience in supervising and mentoring other social work professionals.
- Proficiency in crisis intervention techniques and addiction counseling.
- Knowledge of workforce development programs and resources.
- Familiarity with Medicare regulations and processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
