Job Description

Join a Mission That Matters-Right Where Students Learn and Grow Access Health Louisiana (AHL) is seeking a passionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our School-Based Health Center team. This is more than a counseling role. It's an opportunity to make a lasting impact on students, families, and communities that need it most.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide individual, group, and family therapy to students. Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, school personnel, and referral sources to coordinate holistic care. Maintain accurate and timely case documentation, updating records as needed. Identify and report special cases such as child abuse, neglect, or truancy to appropriate authorities and provide follow-up counseling. Actively contribute to a multidisciplinary team focused on improving student health outcomes. Uphold AHL's mission of delivering care with dignity, respect, and cultural sensitivity. Qualifications Master's Degree from an accredited school of social work Current licensure in good standing in the state of Louisiana Experience Three to five years of post-master's experience working with children, adolescents, families and adults Prior outpatient treatment experience Why Join Us?
