Behavioral Health Job Posting Description The Social Worker is responsible for the delivery of outpatient therapeutic services to children and families in the Behavioral Health Services Department. The candidate will be licensed independently at the LICSW level and can provide supervision to other social workers or social work interns as needed. The Social Worker should have 3-5 years post licensure experience, as well as experience working in a pediatric setting. Preference is given to those who are familiar working with younger children, those with Neurodevelopmental Disabilities, and diverse populations. As a member of an organization committed to service excellence, participation in quality improvement planning, team, and staff meetings are expected. This is a full-time position. Key Duties Identifies family needs, finds appropriate resources, and completes necessary applications/referrals. Schedules and facilitates family team meetings. Attends other regularly scheduled meetings, such as interdisciplinary rounds, rehab rounds, transition meetings, discharge planning meetings and patient care conferences. Completes required documentation and paperwork, including assessments and progress notes on treatment planning and implementation in a timely manner. Provides therapeutic services to patients and their families. Works in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members, including external partners. Maintains contact with collaterals. In cases where the child is in DCF custody, medical social worker will liaise with the Department as needed for coordination of care. Provides staff support when needed and assists staff in recognizing challenges related to patient and family's social complexities to allow staff to provide trauma informed care. Addresses referrals from providers including referrals via warm hand-offs Maintains weekly scheduled appointments Requirements Licensure at the independent level (LICSW) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts OR license eligible At least three to five years' experience Experience with children and families dealing with complex medical issues (preferably at least one year of which was in a hospital or rehabilitation setting) Status Full-Time Regular, Temporary, Per Diem Regular Standard Hours per Week 40 Pay Range $58676.80-$93901.60 Annual Office/Site Location Brighton Job Posting Category Behavioral Health Remote Eligibility Onsite Only
