CENTURY SUMMER HIGH SCHOOL INTERN COORDINATOR
A vacancy is available for a 21st Century Summer High School Intern Coordinator to oversee high school student interns working at the summer locations for Gomes, Jacobs, Pulaski, Winslow, Swift, and Brooks.
JOB DUTIES
  • Oversees high school interns working in summer programming.
  • Interviews and hires new high school interns.
  • Manages the return of previous high school interns working for district summer programs.
  • Coordinates and collaborates all aspects of the high school internship program to align with grant requirements.
  • Creates and carries out onboarding and training requirements for summer interns.
  • Supports and trains high school interns on Project-Based Learning and lesson planning.
  • Coordinates placement and scheduling for high school interns.
  • Recruits, trains, and monitors summer program teachers mentoring interns.
  • Administers exit interviews with student interns at the end of the summer session.
  • Holds daily and weekly debriefing meetings with interns, teacher mentors, site facilitators, and district administrators.
  • Engages in goal-setting and progress monitoring of student interns.
  • Completes all required reports, forms, and other DESE internship grant related requirements, including attending DESE trainings and meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous summer experience required
  • Experience with scheduling, SAYO outcomes, and Project-Based Learning
  • Willingness to travel to multiple school sites
POSITION DETAILS
  • May 15, 2026 through September 15, 2026
  • Must be flexible with hours and available during the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Seasonal, non-union position
Salary:
$45 per hour
