Job Description

What You'll Do:
As a Developmental Specialist, you'll work with children from birth to age three in family homes or community settings to create individualized activities that support developmental growth. By collaborating closely with families, you'll ensure that play-based strategies align with family priorities and values while providing guidance and advocacy.Key Responsibilities:
Partner with families to develop and implement fun, individualized activities that support each child's developmental goalsCollaborate with families to create treatment plans and assist them in accessing community resourcesProvide services in accordance with Department of Public Health (DPH) regulationsAdapt activities to a variety of settings, ensuring engagement and growth in each child's natural environmentMaintain accurate documentation and reports on developmental assessments and progress notesWhat We Offer:

Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or Special Education (required)Experience working with infants, toddlers, and their familiesStrong knowledge of infant and child development, mental illness, intellectual disabilities, and treatment techniquesExcellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skillsFamiliarity with internet, word processing, and email systemsValid driver's license, safe driving record, and reliable transportationBilingual candidates are encouraged to apply We Hire for Purpose!
