TITLE:
Community School Program Manager
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in education, social work, public health, or other related field; Master's preferred A valid teacher's license with MSDE or eligibility for such license. Five years of experience in education, social work, public health, or related field Experience in program management Supervisory experience preferred
REPORTS TO
Principal
JOB GOAL
To design, implement, and supervise programmatic preventions, interventions, and enrichments designed to support the holistic development of students and the needs of community families. Responsible for relationship development and collaboration with all stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops, implements, monitors, and ensures compliance with the community school strategy in accordance with current legislation, state guidance, and TCPS requirements Conducts needs assessment involving multiple stakeholders to identify student and community needs and priorities Facilitates on-going stakeholder advisory groups to inform development of community school plan Develops clear, data-driven annual community school plan for the coordination and delivery of services for students and families Creates detailed timelines for each initiative, tracks and assesses project progress, fosters implementation of initiatives, monitors accountability of strategic partners to ensure deadlines are met and resolves complex issues that may arise Leads the development and adoption of out-of-school programming and other specialty services and projects Supervises and assists in the design, production, and selection of program staff Oversees, organizes and leads all aspects of family involvement, adult education, and professional development opportunities for stakeholders Collects, maintains, and analyzes data to determine the impact of the community school plan, and prepares reports as required Creates tracking system for all aspect of community school programming, including attendance, partnerships, engagement activities, etc Creates promotional materials and outreach strategies to promote community school programming Provides leadership for all aspects related to community school programing Other duties as assigned
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Exempt position. Eleven-month work year. Salary to be established by the Board.
