GED Full Job Description Position Overview:
The School Receptionist and Attendance Coordinator is the first point of contact for Notre Dame Preparatory School. This role welcomes any student, parent, employee, patron/donor, visitor, volunteer or vendor to the school following established protocols and procedures. Responsible for daily Upper Level (UL) attendance for student in grades 9 - 12. This is a full-time, 12-month, on-site position. Works hours are 7am - 3pm.
Responsibilities :
Greet all visitors to the school. Guide access to building using RAPTOR system for all non-employee visitors. Direct all visitors to the appropriate locations. Answer all phone calls and respond accordingly. Assist Upper Level Dean of Students by managing all aspects of UL student attendance, including recording daily advisory attendance, late arrivals, early dismissals, class attendance, and tracking absences with required documentation. Communicate with UL parents, faculty, and staff by responding to attendance emails and sending daily attendance reports. Assist UL Dean of Students with disciplinary process by compiling end-of-day reports and assigning consequences related to attendance. Assist UL Dean of Students with open-campus process for seniors by ensuring students adhere to dismissal procedures. Collaborate with multiple departments regarding absence or early dismissal (e.g., Counseling Department, Health Suite, and Athletics). Serve as back-up to Middle Level (ML) Attendance Coordinator, when needed. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualification:
High school degree required. Some college preferred. At least two (2) years of related work experience with experience in a school setting preferred.
Special Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Outgoing and welcoming personality. Ability to multi-task in an effective and efficient manner.
Must possess excellent communication skills:
both oral and written. Proficiency with standard office equipment (copier, phone systems, scanners) as well as office-related software such as MS Outlook and Blackbaud. Compensation & Benefits Notre Dame Preparatory offers a competitive, market-aligned compensation package commensurate with the seniority, scope, and impact of this role. The anticipated salary range is $45,000 - $50,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement contributions, disability and life insurance, and generous paid time off.
