Job Description

Category Schools - Social Worker Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a school social worker. This contract position is ideal for professionals looking to use their expertise in a collaborative, educational setting during the 2026-2027 academic year. Multiple maternity leave coverage slots are available, including positions beginning in August and October and lasting up to 12 weeks. As a full-time professional working up to 40 hours per week, you'll support students' social and emotional development, advocacy, and well-being during transitional periods. Your specialized training and unique perspective will help empower students, families, and faculty alike.
Required Skills and Experience:
Valid and current full school social work certification (please provide proof upon application) Previous experience working within K-12 school settings preferred Excellent interpersonal communication, crisis intervention, and problem-solving abilities Deep understanding of diverse student populations and sensitivity to varying backgrounds Ability to collaborate effectively with school leadership, teachers, and families
Key Responsibilities:
