Job Description

Category Schools - Social Worker Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful role supporting high school students as a contract School Social Worker. This position offers the chance to work part-time near the Charlotte, MI area, where your expertise will make a significant difference for students, faculty, and families. You'll collaborate as a valued member of both the Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports (PBIS) and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) teams, contributing strategies that foster student success. You'll also provide direct and indirect therapeutic services tailored to individual student needs, ensuring they have the support required for academic, emotional, and personal growth.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Valid School Social Worker Certification in Michigan is required Active Social Worker license in Michigan Experience working within a school setting, preferably at the high school level Strong knowledge of PBIS and MTSS frameworks Demonstrated ability to deliver both direct and consultative social work services Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Commitment to confidentiality, student advocacy, and equity
Primary Responsibilities:
