This role focuses on supporting the social and emotional well-being of students by providing direct and group interventions, participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and assisting with Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS) initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of K-12 students, delivering individual and group social work services Attend and contribute to IEP meetings to support students' educational plans Assist with the implementation of the MTSS framework to promote academic and behavioral success Support the PBIS process to encourage positive student behavior throughout the school Collaborate effectively with parents, school administration, teachers, and other staff members to ensure cohesive support for students

Qualifications:

Michigan School Social Worker Certification or eligibility to obtain certification Licensed Social Worker status in Michigan (LLMSW, LMSW, or LCSW) Experience working in school settings preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders
