Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a difference supporting students' well-being and success as a dedicated social worker in an educational environment close to Coldwater, MI. Key Qualifications:
Licensed or certified as a school social worker (valid credentials required) Previous experience in school settings or with children/adolescents preferred Strong communication, advocacy, and crisis intervention skills Collaborative, compassionate, and culturally responsive approach Ability to manage caseloads and comply with school policies
What You'll Do:
Provide one-on-one and group counseling for students to address emotional and behavioral challenges Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to develop effective intervention plans Connect students and families with essential resources and community services Lead and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) and 504 meetings Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive school climate Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to privacy regulations
