Licensed School Social Worker Full Time Opening Soliant - 3.9 Grand Blanc, MI Job Details Full-time $40 - $50 an hour 21 hours ago Benefits Dental insurance Vision insurance Retirement plan Qualifications School experience Practicing as a school social worker Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Social Worker near Burton, MI to join our team. The School Social Worker will provide comprehensive social work services to students, families, and staff to support their social, emotional, and behavioral well-being. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with children and adolescents, as well as a deep understanding of social work principles and practices.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work or related field from an accredited university. Current state licensure or certification as a School Social Worker. Previous experience working in an educational setting preferred. Strong knowledge of child development, mental health, and social work theories and practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including students, families, and school staff. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Proficiency in using technology and software applications relevant to the role.
