Category Schools - Social Worker Job Type Contract School Social Worker - Harrison, MI We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Social Worker to join a supportive school district in the Harrison, Michigan area for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to support students across a wide range of grade levels while collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to help students succeed both academically and socially.
Position Details:
Full-Time Caseload:
PreK-12th grade Itinerant position
Responsibilities:
Attend and participate in IEP meetings Provide direct and indirect social work services to students Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and support staff Support students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with district and state requirements
Requirements:
Valid Michigan School Social Worker certification Active Michigan Social Work license (LLMSW, LMSW, or LCSW) This is a great opportunity for a passionate School Social Worker looking to make a meaningful impact within a collaborative educational environment.
