Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This contract position begins at the start of November 2026 and continues through the end of December 2026, providing coverage during a maternity leave period. You'll play an important role supporting elementary-aged students at both Schickler Elementary and Lynch Elementary, helping them thrive during a crucial part of their school year.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Social Work license for school settings, with experience working in educational environments Previous caseload management, preferably with elementary students Strong communication and collaboration abilities with teachers, families, and administrators Empathy, adaptability, and an unwavering commitment to supporting student well-being Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in educational settings
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct social-emotional and behavioral support to students across two elementary schools Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and collaborate in multi-disciplinary team meetings Work with families and staff to connect students with valuable community and school-based resources Help create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing school atmosphere Maintain thorough and accurate documentation for student services Enjoy a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week and the chance to impact both school communities for the duration of the assignment.
