You'll play a crucial role in fostering a positive school environment, addressing students' social and emotional needs, and working closely with faculty and families. SSW - 310
credential required Proven experience in a school social work setting, preferably at the high school level Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building abilities Familiarity with crisis intervention, counseling best practices, and multidisciplinary teaming Capacity to manage confidential information with professionalism and sensitivity Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic educational environment
Role Responsibilities:
Provide individualized and group counseling to high school students Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to address academic, behavioral, and emotional concerns Support students' social-emotional development and connect them with appropriate resources Participate in meetings to develop and review behavioral intervention plans, 504s, and IEPs as needed Deliver crisis intervention and prevention services Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with district policies Imagine influencing students' lives during a pivotal time, and potentially making an even bigger impact should you continue into the spring semester with additional assignments.
