Qualifications/Desired Experience:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or a closely related field preferred Relevant state licensure or certification for school-based social work (or eligibility to obtain) Demonstrated experience in educational or youth-centered settings strongly preferred Ability to build meaningful relationships with students and staff Knowledge of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and behavioral intervention strategies Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 paraeducator support for a student with identified needs, under the guidance of special education and social work teams Deliver direct social-emotional support and assist with daily academic and behavioral goals Maintain accurate records of student progress, interventions, and communication with relevant parties Participate in team meetings, IEP reviews, and ongoing professional development Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and encouraging environment in and out of the classroom Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to ensure cohesive support strategies Ensure compliance with all school and district policies and confidentiality requirements
