We are home to older adult residents with treatment resistant mental illnesses who are amazing individuals! We are their home, their family, their supports, their advocates, and their champions! Not only do we impact their lives but we are blessed to know them, love them, and care for them. Many of our employees have been with us for 10-20+ years because we are fortunate to leave work each day knowing that we have made a difference in the lives of our residents. We recognize the importance of a quality work life balance which includes an extremely low, manageable caseload of ONLY 25 residents; low stress; regular business hours (on-site 8:30 am - 5:00 pm); no weekends; no evenings; and no on-call coverage. We are currently looking for an MSW with a limited or full license to perform the following job duties: Conducts annual clinical assessments and develops person centered treatment plans with residents Participates in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings with the psychiatrist, nurses, family/guardians, and the resident Facilitates 8-10 group therapy sessions per week Completes individual therapy/case management sessions as indicated in the treatment plan Spends time with our residents to establish rapport, build on strengths; encourage development of coping skills (this may include fun activities like going on walks, listening to music and playing cards!) Monitors resident progress and coordinates with community mental health agencies Maintains an electronic and paper chart which includes required documentation of services provided, progress notes, treatment plans, and periodic reviews Participates in individual supervision and team meetings to review progress, identify barriers and develop strategies for better assisting residents in achieving their goals Qualifications Possess a Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited university (required) Have an LLMSW (or ability to obtain in the next month) or LMSW from the State of Michigan (required) Community Mental Health experience is preferred As a member of our work family, we are invested in your growth and professional development.
