Le Sueur-Henderson School District Le Sueur-Henderson Community Education is seeking a reliable and caring adult to join our Kids Club summer childcare program , with a primary responsibility of helping close the program at the end of each day . This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and is looking for flexible, meaningful work in a positive team environment.

Position Details Primary Role:

End-of-day closing staff (afternoon/evening hours)

Schedule:

Flexible — 10 to 40 hours per week , based on your availability

Compensation:

$13–$15 per hour , depending on qualifications Summer Position , with the opportunity to continue during the school year if interested Responsibilities Supervise and engage school-age children in a safe, structured environment Lead recreational activities, games, and outdoor play Assist with daily setup and cleanup Communicate with families during pick-up Manage and complete end-of-day closing procedures , ensuring the program space is organized and secure Qualifications Experience working with children preferred Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to stay active and engaged throughout the day Must be able to pass required background checks
