6.5 hours a day; M-F 5 days a week

Per the Paraprofessional Agreement 2023-25 ($21.19 - $22.87)
Qualifications:
Experience and knowledge in PBIS. Experience working in special education. CPI Training. Conscious Discipline. Responsive Classroom Strategies. Essential functions of the position may include but are not limited to the following: Experience working with a diverse poplulation of elementary aged childern. Familarity with Zones of Regulation and/or Conscious Discipline. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with student, staff and administration. Effective communication skills. Knowledge regarding relevant technology (Google, Excel, Student Information Systems). Physically able to work with children on the floor. Familiarity with mindfullness, calming techniques, responsive classroom strategies Work with students to return them to a state of regulation that allows them to re-join their classroom and engage in learning. Able to collect, enter, analyze, and interpret behavioral data. Other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
Physically capable of meeting all performance responsibilities required with students, including standing, walking, stooping, bending, kneeling and lifting. Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds and work with children on the floor.
