COMPENSATION
Licensed Therapist Target Range
  • $70,000
  • 85,000 (based degree level, licensure & experience)
  • In addition to the base salary, eligible individuals can earn monthly and annual bonuses for services exceeding impact targets

  • Friday, Schedule aligns with school hours CMMHC has a rewarding opportunity to serve as a School Linked Mental Health Professional (SLMH) serving the following school districts: Buffalo/Hanover/Montrose, Monticello, Big Lake, Maple Lake, Sartell, Sauk Rapids/Rice, Howard Lake/Waverly/Winsted, Tierra Nova, Wright ALC, and Kaleidoscope.
WHAT IS SCHOOL-LINKED MENTAL HEALTH?
This school-based mental health program partners with local school districts to provide accessible, in-school mental health services for students up to 12th grade. By embedding services within the school environment, the program reduces barriers to care and fosters collaboration with educators and community systems. Mental health professionals deliver direct support, design classroom toolkits, and participate in school-wide interventions to improve student outcomes and reduce behavioral referrals. Clinicians work closely with school staff to respond to students' needs in real-time throughout the school day.
HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT
The Duties include but are not limited to: Provide floating coverage to any schools in CMMHC's service area providing coverage or to meet increased demand. Travel throughout Wright, Sherburne and Stearns Counties is required. Develop and cultivate relationships with school sites and community members to expand and maintain school-linked collaborative efforts. Provide medically necessary services in appropriate settings, including the family when possible. Develop and maintain therapeutic rapport with parents and care providers to allow for improved client or student functioning. Provide flexible support to a dynamic community based therapist team. Collaborate with care providers, social workers, outside agencies, and school staff. Requirements
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Master's degree in psychology, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy. Licensed Mental Health Professional as defined in 9505.0371 Minnesota Rule Subp 5A Clear DHS background study. Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record. Requires use of personal vehicle with current vehicle insurance.
WHAT WILL SET YOU APART
Flexibility and high level of independence Experience and training in behavioral learning techniques, rehabilitation theory and practice, and ability to do diagnostic assessments, and individual treatment plans. Experience working with children and adolescents. Experience in a school setting or community based position. Outgoing personality that allows you to form relationships with the school district.
