Stillwater Middle School Coordinator Role for Summer Language Academy The Summer Language Academy Coordinator provides leadership, instructional guidance, and program oversight for the Summer Language Academy in partnership with the Administrator on site. This role ensures high-quality literacy and language instruction through a push-in and pull-out service model, supports teachers, and monitors student progress to maximize summer learning outcomes. Collaboration Partner with classroom teachers to co-plan and co-deliver instruction Communicate student progress and strategies with staff and families as appropriate Contribute to a positive, team-oriented summer learning environment Learning Environment Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom culture Encourage student participation, confidence, and language use Implement culturally responsive teaching practices Qualifications Valid teaching license (Elementary Education, ESL/ELL, Reading, or related field preferred) Experience working with multilingual learners and/or students needing literacy intervention Knowledge of best practices in literacy instruction and language development Strong collaboration and communication skills with administrator(s) on sight, staff, and families. Preferred Skills Ability to lead colleagues and partner with administrators in service of kids and families Experience with push-in/pull-out service models Familiarity with structured literacy approaches or intervention programs Ability to use data to drive instruction Bilingual in Spanish Compensation $41.23 per hour
