Job Description

As the Support Advocate, you will work with victims and survivors of domestic and sexual violence in the shelter setting. Daily duties include answering the crisis hotline, providing crisis intervention, cleaning cottages, purchasing shelter supplies, and providing transportation. This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a background check. This position requires the ability to lift 40 lbs. This position is primarily evenings and weekends. To thrive in this role, you must be compassionate, dedicated, and able to adhere to the mission statement of the organization. It is the mission of The Crisis Center to provide quality residential and non-residential services to victims and survivors of domestic and sexual violence and their children.
