Seasonal School Age Lead Teacher Raymore, MO 64083 From $18.05 an hour - Full-time From $18.05 an hour - Full-time School Age Teacher-Christian Preschool Summer Program We are seeking a caring, energetic School Age Teacher to join our faith-based summer program at Little Blessings Preschool. The ideal candidate loves working with children and is passionate about sharing the love of Jesus Christ through daily interaction activities, and teaching. Responsibilities Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for school-age children. Plan and lead age-appropriate summer activities including games, crafts, outdoor play, daily devotions, and group learning. Incorporate Biblical principles and teachings about Jesus into daily routines, conversations, and activities Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities to ensure safety at all times. Encourage positive behavior, kindness, and respect among children. Communicate professionally and respectfully with parents, staff and leadership. Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness. Follow all Little Blessings policies and state childcare regulations. Qualifications Confident leading a group of active school-age children from K-5th grade. Able to set clear expectations and encourage respectful behavior Experience working with school-age children in a childcare, school, camp, VBS, after-school program or similar setting. Must be comfortable teaching about Jesus and supporting the Christian mission of the preschool. A personal commitment to Christian values and willingness to model Christ-like behavior. Positive attitude, patience, and strong communication skills. Ability to manage groups of children in a structured and caring way. Have Class E license or willingness to obtain one, as we take three field trips per week. Comfortable managing children during field trips and off-site activities. Must be dependable and able to work as part of a team. Organized and prepared Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a Christian preschool, church program or summer camp. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain Early childhood education or related coursework is a plus Class E license or willingness to obtain one Schedule Hours 9-6,
