This role is vital in creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment that fosters growth, development, and fun. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, strong leadership skills, and a passion for working with school-aged children. You will oversee program planning, staff supervision, and ensure compliance with educational standards while promoting a positive community atmosphere. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners' lives through innovative program development and effective team management. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive after-school programs tailored to the needs of school-aged children, ensuring activities are educational, inclusive, and engaging Supervise and support staff members, including educators and activity leaders, fostering a collaborative team environment Coordinate daily program schedules, activities, and special events to promote social-emotional learning and physical activity Maintain communication with parents, schools, and community partners to ensure program success and address any concerns Manage program budgets, supplies, and resources efficiently to maximize impact and sustainability Ensure compliance with childcare regulations, safety protocols, and educational standards at all times Lead staff recruitment, training, and ongoing professional development to uphold high-quality service delivery Qualifications Higher education teaching experience or relevant background in education administration is highly preferred Proven experience in school administrative director roles or similar leadership positions within childcare or educational settings Strong skills in program development, curriculum planning, and implementing educational activities for children Demonstrated ability in team management and personnel oversight within early childhood or school-age programs Knowledge of childcare best practices, early childhood education standards, and working with students of various ages Proficiency with productivity software such as MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and planning purposes Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with staff, parents, and community stakeholders Join us as a School Age Coordinator to inspire young minds through innovative programming while leading a passionate team dedicated to excellence in education.
