  • is currently seeking Federal Work Study Students to serve as Summer Camp Counselors.
Conetoe Family Life Center seeks enthusiastic ECU undergraduate students for a work-based learning position supporting summer programming and special projects. The selected students will contribute to organizing, tracking, and delivering key initiatives focused on food justice, youth development, and community wellness in a rural setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate logistics for summer programs, workshops, and community events. Track progress on assigned projects and maintain communication across teams. Help create flyers, newsletters, and digital content for program outreach. Collaborate with volunteers, youth, and partner organizations. Contribute to documentation, evaluation, and post-program planning efforts. Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.)
Eligible Fields of Study:
Public Health Studies Management Public Administration Health Services Management Community and Regional Planning Nonprofit Leadership or related disciplines
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Junior or senior standing at ECU. Must be eligible for the Federal Work Study program. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Comfortable working with youth and community members in a rural setting. Reliable transportation to and from CFLC. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; Canva or social media skills are a plus.
