Job Description

Job Summary The Shelter Site & Services Manager plays a key role in shelter operations while providing direct support and advocacy to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. This position oversees day-to-day shelter operations and provides ongoing case management and crisis intervention services. The role also coordinates and facilitates SafePlace programs, including survivor support groups, prevention education curriculum, and outreach opportunities. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and able to balance administrative responsibilities with direct client support in a trauma-informed environment. Duties Provide crisis intervention, client advocacy, and case management to survivors of domestic violence or sexual assault. Manage the daily operations and needs of the shelter, ensuring a safe, clean, and supportive environment. Work closely with local schools to provide prevention education classes and programming to students. Ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency in documentation and procedures. Coordinate and facilitate meetings with clients as needed. Complete client intakes. Provide court accompaniment and transportation for clients as needed. Work collaboratively with Shelter Advocates to ensure 24-hour hotline coverage, shelter staffing, and client support. Participate in after-hours on-call rotation. Assist with community events, outreach tables, and awareness activities. Requirements Experience working with youth/families, survivors of domestic violence and/or sexual assault is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills, sensitivity, and compassion. Computer proficiency and the ability to organize and maintain accurate records. Excellent relationship management skills to build partnerships with clients, families, community organizations, and stakeholders. Honesty, reliability, and strong professional boundaries. Valid driver's license and auto insurance. Background in social work or related fields is preferred.
Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
