This individual will be responsible for providing case management services to homeless families, ensuring their basic needs are met, and assisting them in addressing long-term goals and needs. This is a full-time position consisting of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Starting Pay:
$22.42/hour Key responsibilities include: Provide case management services through home visits, referrals, and limited transportation support. Advocate for clients by coordinating services with community agencies and landlords. Assist with housing placement, pre-inspections, and housing authority inspections. Organize and document donations and in-kind contributions. Conduct outreach through coordinated entry systems, assessments, and community events. Ensure program compliance through accurate documentation and reporting. Attend training and collaborate with staff to support agency goals and mission.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in human services, business, or related field preferred. Two (2) years relevant work experience required. Strong verbal and written proficiencies of the English language required. Valid Nebraska Driver's License and good driving record required. Must have knowledge of agency programs, services, policies, procedures, and community resources. Must have strong negotiation, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Must be proficient in using computers, Microsoft Office, and office equipment. Must be able to communicate professionally with individuals from diverse backgrounds and personalities. Must be able to follow directions, work independently, and maintain confidentiality. Must be able to contribute to team efforts and participate in required training.
