Licensed Social Worker/Therapist Annandale, NJ 08801 From $79,000 a year - Full-time From $79,000 a year - Full-time Overview Join our dynamic clinical team at our adolescent partial care program as a Licensed Social Worker/Therapist, where you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive behavioral health care to diverse populations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your expertise in psychotherapy, clinical assessment, and case management to make a meaningful difference in individuals' lives. You will work closely with adolescents providing evidence-based therapies and support within a collaborative, patient-centered environment. Duties Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine client needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Provide individual, group, and family counseling utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral therapy. Implement specialized interventions for clients with anxiety, depression, self harm, PTSD, addiction issues, and other mental health concerns. Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems for accurate documentation of patient records, medical terminology, HIPAA compliance, and medical records management. Engage in crisis intervention and crisis management to support clients experiencing acute mental health challenges or behavioral crises. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans, case management efforts, and community resources for optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications Valid NJ state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), or equivalent credentialing as a Therapist or Licensed Master's Social Worker (LMSW). Proven experience in psychotherapy techniques including motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and psychodynamic therapy. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children, and families. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, medical documentation standards, CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), and electronic health record systems. Experience working within hospital settings or community-based care environments is highly desirable. Skills in crisis management, trauma-informed care for PTSD patients, addiction counseling techniques. Excellent communication skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately and develop appropriate treatment plans aligned with clinical research standards.
