SCHOOL SOCIAL WORKER/FIELD SUPERVISOR 1.0 FTE

CLINTON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AVAILABLE SEPTEMBER 2026 POSITION
To provide on-site early intervention social work services to elementary school children.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED 1. NJ
School Social Worker Certification required. 2. NJ LCSW Certification preferred. HIB training a plus. 3. Understanding of Section 504. 4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 5. REPORTS TO
: Assistant Superintendent of Special Services
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Provide counseling services to students, parents and staff, and, as needed, make referrals to appropriate community resources 2. Identify students' social and emotional needs 3. Provide consultation to school personnel relating to the emotional/social well-being of students 4. Assist in the development and delivery of in-service programs and parent seminars 5. Inform the staff and community of mental health services available in the district 6. Serve as a consultant to parents, school personnel, and community groups on mental health topics 7. Ensure provision of service to classified and potentially classified pupils to whom this individual is assigned as case manager, pursuant to
