Responsibilities:

Case management Participation in IEP and other meetings Facilitate support groups Link students and their families with community resources, as needed Attend staff meetings, parent teacher conferences, back to school night and other school functions and events Work closely with school districts child study team Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to assist with social emotional and behavioral need Comply with IEP rules and regulations Develop intervention plans for student Work closely with teachers and administration on methods to enhance students abilities

Qualifications:

Must have a LCSW Must have a School Social Worker certification Experience working with at risk youth Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills Social work experience: 2 years (Preferred)

Hours:

8:00-3:30 - Monday-Friday, Follows the school calendar: Work September-June and 30 days over the summer
