If yes, how you will contribute to the team: As the Licensed Social Worker (LSW) , you will assist in the overall operation of the Social Services Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. You will assist each resident and their family in adjusting to placement, illness, and the plan of care, ensuring they attain the highest practicable level of functioning.
Must Have:
Bachelor's degree in a related field. 2-3 years of related field work experience in social services. Ability to develop and maintain a care plan with the facility's interdisciplinary team. Ability to work with physically and mentally ill, disabled, and emotionally upset elderly individuals. Ability to maintain confidentiality and be discreet in handling sensitive information. Knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, and laws related to long-term care.
