The successful candidate will need to: Connecting students and families with school and community-based resources; Identify and promote internal use of community-based services directly and in a consultation role; Providing case management for students and families requiring multiple resources; Providing school-based counseling per IEP, 504 or student support plan; Promote social-emotional well-being of students in classrooms, lunch groups, restorative practices, etc.; Support the implementation of functional behavioral assessment and behavior intervention plans in collaboration with other mental health professionals; Respond as needed in crisis situations; Participate in

meetings, building team meetings; Serve as member of Pupil Support Office Team; Utilize data to monitor attendance, behavior, academics and collaborate with building team, families and students on appropriate interventions to ensure students remain on-track; Lead attendance monitoring, reporting, and outreach efforts; Collaborate with school counselors on fostering community partnerships in the region for career exploration.
