Roles & Responsibilities Core Purpose:
To providespecialised student support through supportive guidance, programmemanagement, and collaborative intervention strategies to help Studentswith additional needs (SWANS) meaningfully connect with their schoolcommunity and achieve personal growth. Expectedoutcomes include improved school engagement, enhanced social-emotionalskills, and stronger peer relationships. 1) ProgrammeManagement and Implementation a. Work withvendors to customise, and implement structured support UPLIFTprogrammes (eg. LOL and GLOW programmes) tailored to meet diversestudent needs. b. Create andcurate programme resources whilst managing administrativetasks including student progress monitoring c. Conducttwice-weekly student check-ins during the planned UPLIFT programme/activitieswith follow-up support for students requiring additionalassistance. (2) DirectStudent Support a. Provideindividual and group support to students across all year levels facingacademic, social, or emotional challenges (based on identifiedstudent list provided by the school) b. Buildpositive relationships and implement early intervention strategies c. Conductrelevant workshops for students and staff (eg. conflict resolutionclinics) to work towards desired student goals. (3)Collaboration and Communication a. Workcollaboratively with Year Heads, School Counsellors, Form Teachers (FT),and
FLY/GLOW/UPLIFT
programme providers to monitorstudents' progress against the identified learning outcomes b. Maintainregular communication with parents and caregivers (based on identifiedstudent list provided by the school) c. Providecomprehensive reporting on student progress - regularly with Formteachers, termly for SDT KPs and semesterly with School Leaders.
