• Temporary Job Summary We are seeking a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to provide therapeutic and mental health support services at the Green Haven Mental Health Unit, part of the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH).

This role supports forensic patients within a secure setting and requires a compassionate, detail-oriented professional committed to high-quality patient care. The LMSW will work approximately 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with exact shifts and hours discussed during the interview process. The position is located at Green Haven Mental Health Unit and involves direct therapeutic interaction with forensic patients. Candidates may have contact with incarcerated individuals and will be required to complete CNYPC orientation. Proof of current TB testing and a recent flu shot is required prior to assignment. Responsibilities Provide individual therapy services to patients in a primary therapist role Complete mental health assessments and clinical documentation, including: Core Histories Suicide Assessments/Risk Assessments Weekly and Monthly Progress Notes Treatment Plans Discharge Plans Facilitate therapeutic group sessions Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with OMH policies and procedures Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams to support patient care and treatment goals Skills

• Possession of a current New York State Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) license and registration is required
• Experience providing therapeutic mental health services preferred
• Ability to work in a forensic mental health setting
• Comfortable working in an environment where contact with incarcerated individuals may occur
• Must complete required CNYPC orientation
• Must provide proof of current TB testing and recent flu vaccination Pay range
