Looking for a kind, patient, and engaging Com Hab worker / one to one for a sweet and loving 8-year-old in the White Plains area. The child is energetic, social, and thrives with someone active, calm, creative, and able to build a strong connection. Looking for someone who enjoys working one-on-one with children and can help encourage independence, confidence, emotional regulation, and community participation.
Responsibilities may include:
Community outings and activities Helping build social and life skills Encouraging independence Play-based engagement Ideal candidate: Reliable and patient Energetic and interactive Experience with special needs preferred Must genuinely enjoy working with children Sense of humor and creativity are a plus Flexible after-school/weekend hours available.
