Job Description

My client, Stark County Mental Health & Addiction Recovery (StarkMHAR) is seeking a part-time Cultural Competence Coordinator to lead initiatives that promote equitable, culturally responsive behavioral health services throughout Stark County.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement Cultural and Linguistic Competence (CLC) strategies and work plans Provide training and technical assistance to behavioral health providers Lead cultural competence committees and community collaborations Build partnerships with community organizations and underserved populations Support compliance with Cultural Linguistic Appropriate Services (CLAS) standards and culturally responsive practices Promote trauma-informed, inclusive service delivery across the behavioral health system
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in social work, public health, psychology, sociology, communications, or related field required Minimum 3 years of experience in a community-focused organization required Knowledge of cultural competence, behavioral health systems, and community engagement required Spanish fluency preferred
Schedule:

Pay:
$25,963.00 - $30,831.00 per year
