You are a person who cares deeply about the total welfare of the people you meet. You refuse to let a person slip through the cracks; when they don?t show up, you are the first one to reach out because you genuinely care about their presence and their future. You lead with empathy and a nurturing spirit, but you also know how to hold others to high standards because you believe in their potential. A Trust Builder. You are a bridge-builder who creates immediate rapport with others, ensuring they feel seen, heard, and supported from day one. You understand that education is only possible when a student feels safe and stable, and you are energized by the idea of working tirelessly to create that foundation for others. You are a navigator of human emotions and complex family dynamics, always seeking to turn barriers into breakthroughs. A Holistic Problem Solver. You look beyond immediate behavior to identify and solve the internal struggles and external barriers?housing, transportation, food security, or mental health?that stand in the way of a student?s success. You are a master of wrap-around support, comfortable navigating the landscape of community resources and social services to ensure our students have everything they need to thrive. A Proactive Retention Lead. You are not one to wait for a problem to arise. As a lead member of the Attendance Intervention Team, you proactively monitor data and reach out before a student disengages. You are comfortable making the calls, sending the texts, and conducting the home visits necessary to bring our students back into the fold and keep them on track. A Tech-Fluent Navigator. You understand that the best advocacy is informed by good data. You are at home within Google Workspace and Student Information Systems, using these tools to track interventions, log support notes, and ensure that every student's journey is documented with 100% accuracy. You learn new software quickly and believe that organized data is a key component of excellent service.
