Social Worker/Counselor

Access Ohio Behavioral Health is looking for full-time Counselors to provide supportive treatment for our patients in the Delaware & Mt. Gilead area.

Scheduling Options Include :

Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm, 8:30am-5pm, 9am-5:30pm. The ideal candidate will have expertise in counseling that includes providing assessment, individual counseling, and case management; will possess strong crisis intervention and problem solving skills; will enjoy an outpatient clinical environment; and will be able to provide comprehensive individual, and group therapy. This is a primarily office-based position . Dependent upon client need the position may require services to be provided to consumers in their homes other community settings. Strong knowledge of wellness, recovery and self-help Effective communication and written skills are essential Great customer service skills Highly organized and self-motivated Experience understanding and utilizing various evidence-based models and theories pertaining to psycho-education, motivational interviewing, serious mental illness and recovery Proficient in utilizing and adapting to technology such as Microsoft Office, scanning and image transfer and electronic health records. Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people and client populations Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in a complex environment with multiple priorities.

Requirements:

Master's Degree with license in Social Work or Counseling preferred. Bachelor's Degree with license in Social Work or Counseling will be considered. At least one year of experience working with individuals with serious mental illness and/or those with serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders preferred. LSW/LPC required.

LISW/LPCC/LISW-S/LPCC-S

preferred Current automobile liability insurance. Clean urine drug screen upon hire (zero tolerance policy). Background check upon hire.
