Summary The schl cmmunity advcate serves as a liaisn between the Allentwn Schl District, families, and the brader cmmunity. Schl cmmunity advcates supprt district initiatives by prmting family engagement, assisting with student recruitment and enrllment effrts, increasing awareness f district prgrams and services, and helping families access educatinal and cmmunity resurces. As trusted representatives f the district, schl cmmunity advcates help build meaningful relatinships with families, strengthen cmmunicatin between schls and the cmmunity, and prmte a welcming and inclusive envirnment fr all students and families.

Essential Duties and Respnsibilities:

Family Engagement Prmte family engagement pprtunities and district-spns red events. Welcme and supp rt new families entering the district. Cnduct utreach calls and cmmunicatins t families. Encurage participatin in sch l and district activities. Assist with parent wrkshps, infrmatinal sessi ns, and engagement initiatives. Serve as a cnnectr between families, schls, and district res urces. Recruitment and Enrllment Supprt Assist with Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten recruitment eff rts. Supprt student registratin and enr llment events. Prvide families with enrllment infrmati n and guidance. Assist families in navigating registratin pr cesses and district requirements. Prmte district prgrams, educatinal pp rtunities, and specialized services. Supprt district enrllment campaigns, mbile registratin initiatives, and cmmunity utreach eff rts. Cmmunity utreach Cnduct utreach activities within neighbrhds and c mmunity settings. Distribute infrmatinal and enr llment materials. Attend cmmunity meetings and events n behalf f the district. Build and maintain psitive relatinships with cmmunity rganizati ns and partners. Supprt utreach effrts within apartment cmmunities, faith-based rganizatins, and c mmunity centers. Identify pprtunities t expand district visibility and c mmunity partnerships. Cmmunity Event Representatin Represent the district at cmmunity events, res urce fairs, and public gatherings.
