In this dynamic position, you will respond to urgent calls, assess situations, and provide critical support to vulnerable children and their families. Your work will directly contribute to creating safer environments and fostering positive outcomes for children in need. We are seeking motivated individuals who are passionate about making a difference and possess strong communication and crisis management skills. Responsibilities Respond promptly to incoming calls from children, families, and professionals, providing empathetic support and guidance during crises. Conduct thorough assessments of each situation using motivational interviewing techniques to understand needs and determine appropriate interventions. Collaborate with child protective services, family law agencies, and behavioral health providers to coordinate care plans and ensure child safety. Implement crisis intervention strategies to de-escalate tense situations and provide immediate assistance when necessary. Document case details accurately, including assessments, actions taken, and follow-up plans, maintaining confidentiality at all times. Support children with disabilities or behavioral health challenges by adapting communication approaches and intervention methods. Manage conflicts effectively among involved parties, fostering resolution and understanding while prioritizing the child's best interests. Experience Prior experience in social work, child welfare, or family law is highly desirable. Demonstrated proficiency in crisis management and crisis intervention techniques. Knowledge of child protective services protocols and familiarity with working with children of diverse backgrounds. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or behavioral health needs is a plus. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally. Background in childcare or family law enhances understanding of legal frameworks affecting children and families. Excellent communication skills combined with the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential for success in this role.
