This role supports justice-involved individuals and is responsible for performing the duties for the Reentry Resource Center (RERC) in the Connections Work office and at the Berks County Jail System (BCJS). This position conducts assessments for walk-ins and incarcerated individuals, identifies service needs, develops individualized resource plans, provides appropriate support and facilitates connections to community programs and assistance. The person in this role collaborates closely with correctional treatment staff, community service providers, and internal agency programs to ensure effective service delivery and continuity of care.
DRIVER'S LICENSE REQUIRED BILINGUAL
(Spanish/English) A PLUS ($19.70 per hour if confirmed bilingual) BCJ Clearance Required (Connections Work will process this if you are offered the position) The ideal candidate is compassionate, resourceful, and committed to helping individuals overcome barriers and build successful futures. Successful candidates are strong communicators, organized problem-solvers, and are comfortable collaborating with diverse stakeholders, including justice-involved individuals, correctional staff, service providers, and community partners. Individuals with experience in case management, human services, workforce development, behavioral health, social work, criminal justice, or related fields, and a passion for supporting reentry and community reintegration, are encouraged to apply.
