Job Description

This full-time, onsite contract opportunity offers the chance to engage with K-4 students in emotional support settings and to partner with dedicated school staff. Key Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Social Work or related field State licensure or certification as required for school-based Social Workers Experience working with children, especially elementary-aged students Strong interpersonal, communication, and crisis intervention skills Understanding of and sensitivity to the emotional and social challenges faced by students Previous school-based social work experience is highly beneficial
Role Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group counseling to elementary students requiring emotional support Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement strategies for student well-being Conduct assessments and maintain detailed records of student progress and interventions Assist in crisis intervention and conflict resolution as needed Serve as a resource for parents and staff regarding social/emotional development and available community supports
