In this vital role, you will oversee interactions between children and non-custodial parents or guardians, ensuring compliance with court orders and safety protocols. Your presence will promote healthy relationships while maintaining a secure atmosphere that prioritizes the child's well-being. Duties Observe and monitor visits between children and non-custodial parents or guardians to ensure safety and adherence to court-mandated guidelines Maintain a neutral, respectful, and engaging environment that encourages positive interactions Document visit details accurately, including behaviors, interactions, and any incidents or concerns Enforce rules related to child safety, appropriate conduct, and visitation schedules Communicate effectively with families, social workers, legal professionals, and other stakeholders as needed Respond promptly to any behavioral issues or emergencies using crisis intervention techniques Support children with disabilities or behavioral health needs by adapting supervision strategies accordingly Requirements Prior experience working with children in childcare, social work, or family law settings is highly preferred Knowledge of child protective services protocols and child welfare practices Strong conflict management skills to de-escalate tense situations calmly and effectively Familiarity with motivational interviewing techniques to promote positive communication Ability to handle crisis situations with professionalism and composure through crisis intervention skills Experience working with individuals with disabilities or behavioral health challenges is a plus Excellent observational skills combined with detailed documentation abilities Valid background check clearance and adherence to confidentiality standards are required Join us in this rewarding role where your dedication helps strengthen family bonds while ensuring children's safety.
