Full-time Summary The bilingual Community Resources Liaison will build and maintain collaborative relationships with community resource providers and local community programs to build support network for clients, including non-profit organizations, religious institutions, refugee services providers and available pro-bono services. Requires strong working knowledge of community and an ability to seek and build relationships. This position is responsible to expand resources for sponsors and children in the Juntos home study program, which supports family unification for immigrant children, family preservation, kinship care, and general child well-being. • Duties and Responsibilities• Familiarize and establish collaborative relationships with local community programs and resources for client referrals such as non-profits, religious institutions, and refugee service providers. Demonstrates knowledge of surrounding community challenges and best practice research-oriented solutions and the ability to utilize this knowledge to affect changes in the life of our children, adults, and families served. Provides support to HS/PRS workers, and immigrant gap services. Maintaining active community resource guides with community partners for community members, HR/PRS workers, and immigrant families. Build a network of local pro bono legal resources, food and clothing banks, mental health services and care providers to establich services for youth. Coordinate and maintain communication with key stakeholders Maintain confidentiality in all areas of the service populations and program operations Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor Requirements Associates Degree in the Behavior Sciences, Human Services, or other relevant social services field or High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 1-3 years' experience working with the immigrant/refugee population. Bilingual in Spanish/English. Working with the Juntos Home Study Program Center For Family Services' Juntos Home Study program conducts the home study for sponsor families who are awaiting placement of children in need of a safe place to live. The home study ensures a safe, warm and caring temporary home for immigrant children while in the care of a sponsor until the child's family unification process is complete. Juntos Home Study services focus on the safety of each child and utilize Nurtured Heart, a trauma informed care approach, which emphasizes physical, psychological and emotional safety and helps children rebuild a sense of safety and control. and get hired and become part of our growing team of staff who are dedicated to child well-being.
