If you enjoy talking to people, building relationships, and making things happen locally, keep reading. Job Description This is not a behind-the-scenes role. It's for someone who is comfortable reaching out, starting conversations, and staying persistent. As a Local Coordinator, you'll connect international high school students with volunteer host families in the Spokane/Coeur d'Alene area and support them throughout the school year. Aspect Foundation is a non-profit organization that has been leading high school international exchange programs for over 40 years. We work with students from over 50 countries who come to the U.S. to attend a local high school and live with a host family. About the Role A big part of this role is reaching out locally to find and connect with potential host families. This could include talking to people in your network, sharing the opportunity in your community, and building relationships with local schools and families.
You will:
reach out in your community to share the opportunity of hosting an exchange student connect with local families, schools, and community members support and guide host families and students throughout the program help create a positive and welcoming experience for everyone involved This role is a great fit if you: enjoy talking to people and building relationships feel comfortable starting conversations and following up are active in your community (schools, sports, local groups, etc.) don't get discouraged if someone says no are organized and follow through on commitments have an interest in working with teens and different cultures What We Offer flexible schedule, work around your existing commitments work from home with the option to be active in your local community training and ongoing support the opportunity to build meaningful connections locally and internationally performance-based incentives and travel opportunities Basic requirements to apply: age 25 or older authorized to work in the USA ability to pass a criminal background check valid driver's license and reliable transportation access to a computer/tablet and basic tech skills Ready to apply?
