Overview Join our dedicated team as a part-time Home Visitor, where you will play a vital role in supporting families and children through personalized in-home visits. As a Home Visitor, you will engage with families in their homes, providing guidance, education, and support to ensure the well-being of children and their caregivers. Responsibilities Conduct scheduled home visits and group connections with enrolled families. Provide education on child development, behavioral health, and parenting strategies to support positive family dynamics. Individualize education based on family strengths, needs, culture, and goals. Support parents in understanding developmental milestones and age-appropriate expectations. Model age-appropriate lessons. Complete required enrollment and ongoing documentation accurately and timely. Qualifications Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, or related human services field. Must be able to pass a background check, including a child abuse registry check. Minimum of 2 years working with children, families, or in a social service agency is highly preferred. Knowledge of child development, best practices, casework principles, and goal-directed services. Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy, discretion, and professionalism. Excellent communication skills to build trust and rapport with diverse families. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for home visits are required.
