at Children's Home and Aid in Granite City, Illinois, United States Job Description Description Brightpoint invites you to join our team of mission-driven staff who share a common vision: an equitable world where all children and families thrive in strong communities. As a leader in the human services sector for 140 years, we aim to advance the well-being of children by investing in families and strengthening communities through data-informed, collaborative, and preventative solutions. The Stronger Beginnings for Families Home Visitor is a critical member of the organization's prevention and family support programs, providing comprehensive, long-term home-visiting services within a strength-based, family-centered model to high risk expectant parents and families with young children. As a Home Visitor, you will meet regularly with families with young children to provide observations of parent-child interactions, including assessing for effective communication and empathic responses and engaging parents in reflective dialogue on the developing parent-child relationship, as well as partnering with them to establish family and child development goals and support them in expanding their support systems. The Home Visitor also provides parenting support and facilitates parent support groups, assist parents in forming community connections aligned with service goals, including referral and linkage with providers of early intervention, mental health, health care, and other supportive services, and develops and maintains collaborative partnerships with key community providers.
Candidate qualifications:
+ Associate's Degree in Social Work, Child Development or a closely related field required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. + At least one year of experience working with families with children under the age of 5. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Valid driver's license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle required. + Strong relationship building and collaboration skills. + The ability to communicate in both English and Spanish preferred.

Compensation:
Hourly Range $20.00-$23.00; offers are commensurate with experience and bilingual candidates may receive additional compensation. The salary range provided represents our current estimate for this role at the time of posting and is subject to change. The final salary will be determined based on a range of factors, including but not limited to, a candidate's relevant experience, education, qualifications, skills, certifications, and alignment with organizational needs. Location:
Hybrid (1-2 days remote); Home visits primarily assigned in Madison and St. Clair counties with opportunities for remote work between home visits and on-site meetings. Schedule:
